Horizon by SkyCity has two main access points. One for foot traffic and a unique underground porte-cochère for drop-off, pick-up, taxi/Uber, and valet parking.
All vehicle access
For all vehicle access including pick-up or drop-off by taxis, Uber, and for hotel valet parking service please go to:
- SkyCity car park, 46 Nelson Street, Auckland 1010
Use the far-right hand lane as you turn off Nelson Street, then follow ‘Horizon Hotel’ signage.
Pedestrians
For all pedestrian access go to:
- 85 Hobson Street, Auckland 1010
Please note there is no area here for pick-up or drop-off. Use 46 Nelson Street for all vehicles.
Car parking
- Valet service $60 per car per day

- Self-parking from $35 per car per exit
Please use SkyCity car park and park in the general parking bays levels 2-5. We suggest the ‘Atrium’ end of the car park (as sign posted, rather than ‘theatre’). Take the lifts to level 3 and follow the signs to the SkyBridge and follow directions to Horizon Hotel. Take the shuttle lift (sign posted) to H1 and to hotel reception.
Car park entry is via one of three entrances: Federal Street, Hobson Street or Nelson Street.
Please ask reception for a car parking pass for your exit on checking out of the hotel.
Traveling from Auckland Airport
Take the Southern Motorway north, and take exit 427 from SH1. Continue onto Nelson Street following the signs directly to SkyCity and choose from the parking options above.

By car – The concierge team will be able to provide you with a map to navigate your way to 46 Nelson Street via Hobson Street
On foot – A short walk approximately 4 minutes advisable with light luggage. From the lobby at The Grand by SkyCity, take the elevator up to level 5 and follow signage towards the SkyBridge. The SkyBridge leads you to level 4 at Horizon Hotel where you’ll need to take the shuttle lift down to H1 and to hotel reception.
From SkyCity Hotel:
- a) Via Atrium - Follow clear signage from the SkyCity Hotel lobby lift to go up to level 3 towards the SkyBridge. Follow directions to Horizon by SkyCity. The SkyBridge leads you to level 4 at Horizon Hotel where you’ll need to take the shuttle lift down to H1 and to hotel reception.
- b) Via Theatre Carpark: Take the elevator to level 3 towards SkyCity, then head towards the SkyBridge leading you to Horizon by SkyCity. The SkyBridge leads you to level 4 at Horizon Hotel where you’ll need to take the shuttle lift down to H1 and to hotel reception.
- c) By car: The concierge team will be able to provide you with a map to navigate your way to 46 Nelson Street via Hobson Street
